RV Financing..

New to purchasing and financing a rv..

Really would like 240 month financing, but no experience here.. Are banks doing it? Min down payment going this route or min dollar amount financed?

Would love some feedback from you experienced guys out there..

  • Some one needs to say it , you will be upside down for the first 17 years . Which may be fine if you have no other assets , be kinda like renting . With no other assets you can walk away with nothing but a bad score . If you own other assets , a deficiency judgement might be tough !

We got ours last year thru Bank of the West for 20 yrs as well.
The sale price on the contract was MSRP, then our trade was subtracted which included a "special discount" (the actual price we negociated). The net after all that is what we actually financed well under 100,000.
  • Last August we got a 3.74% rate through BofA for $250K with $30K down for 240 months. Of course, we'll never pay off the full amount, so it's really like renting but we can deduct the interest and license on our taxes.

  • We just bought a Winnebago Via last week and were told that the loan had to be over $100k to get 240 months. Finance rate depends on your credit score. We got 4.99% with a score of 754. We used a $15k trade in on our TT as the down payment.

I've gotta update our signature and pix
