RV garden - concerns about moving pests?

Lucy and Desi saved rocks for a rock garden, they ended up getting tossed over the side of a mountain! Chances are you'll end up doing the same thing with plants too. We tried transporting 3 pineapple plants from Florida to Indiana over Christmas. What a pain! They survived the trip. We have one, my mother has one, my sister has the last one. They're all thriving nicely now. So, I suppose it could be done. Still, the side of that mountain sounded pretty good about the time we hit Tennessee on our way home!
Bugs ... oh my gosh, you'll infest the entire nation. They transport yellow fever, malaria, polio, hepatitis, botulism, ring worm, fleas, bacteria, flesh eating disease, small pox, and pink-eye! Next thing you know the grass will be consumed like a roaring fire searing a hotdog on the end of a stick, trees will become infested with bark-eating parasites, homes will become invaded reclouse spiders that will literally burrow into the ears of small children when they sleep in their cribs.... Oh my gosh! Don't do it!
Well ... you wanted a confirmation why this would be a bad idea! There you go (if you believe it!) :)
(if they can transport grapes from Chili to the US and Bananas from South America, I really don't think there's any REAL danger transporting your own personal garden ... but if you want the scare tactic, the above paragraph will stand!)
