You've hit the nail on the head. For years I have stated that we ourselves are the enemy. For some odd reason, we attempt to defend the deficiencies and lack of quality of control in the rv industry.

We need to face facts. It is a highly unregulated industry where every year many people are maimed or killed.

Over on the Northwood RV Owners Association forum, when someone complains about the shoddy workmanship, and lack of quality control, the moderators threaten to shut the threads down. They do not like any criticism and always come out and defend Northwood, the manufacturer of Arctic Fox and Nash campers and trailers.
