rv insurance cost more if its parked on a site for the year

was wondering if rv insurance is more or less if agent knows that it is parked on a site or it is pulled back and forth to campgrounds ?

  • Ask some other insurance companies and see what they say. Then you can take the best offer and go back to your own company. If they can't help you, switch!

  • Generally there is a difference in most states if the unit sits and never moves. Not to say it makes a huge difference unless you have it tied down or some other permanent thing done to it on site. Since plans do change an no one know when their rig will be moved next.

    Best to move it though once or twice a year if possible.

    Simple answer - ask your agent! Every company has different rules. We get a big discount when we put our MH into storage for the winter.
