RV insurance

I might have just bought an RV and I need insurance.
The quotes I received are from r companies so far.

Geico $1950 yr
Progressive $3000
national interstate $1667
Allied $1127

How can there be that much of a difference?
Has anybody used RV America?

You might want to try Blue Sky RV Insurance.

According to everything I read Bluesky has been raising their rates to almost double.
The guy I'm buying the coach has Bluesky and he said they just raised him $900.
  • What kind of coverage are you getting quotes for?

We were with National Interstate for 7 yrs.
FULL Timers policy (just like homeowners) on our 5th wheel PLUS contents/custom equipment/replacement/medical/accidents etc. and coverage on our truck....total for both policies was roughly $1600/yr.
Really good company/customer service and no hassles with claims/repairs.

Remember when getting quotes pricing should be for same coverages and your age, driving record, location, credit history, vehicle type will be part of the equation.

Haven't heard of RV America. All the others YES including BlueSky.
  • Boy, Flo will not be happy with those numbers.

Whenever I get something new I call my agent and she finds a policy/company for me with the coverage I need at a good cost.

Are all these companies quoting on the same things/amounts? I have only heard o2.
