Yeah, and while those income numbers are interesting, really equal with many other areas of the country when one factors cost of living. A nice ranch style home on a couple of acres in gentile rolling hills in the rural Midwest can be had for under $150k. Auto and home insurances are substantially less also. When one takes income numbers without also looking at cost of living, it means very little.
