Have you heard of radiant lp heaters? Just a thought. They are more efficient than a vented heater and have efficiency ratings to 99%. You can get them in floor or wall mounted and best of all none of the heat produced is exhausted out a vent pipe. They only need electric to ignite the flame or if you get one with a fan built in. You could also plug in a small table top fan to circulate the air.
