I have heard these horror stories before. I guess we've been lucky but we've had 4 Travel trailers and had pretty good luck with all of them. It looks like you have a Keystone which is what we have now. Our's is a 2015 26ft Cougar and knock on wood we have had no issues thus far and we've made one trip from Pa to Missouri and one trip from Pa to Yellowstone and a number of shorter trips in between. You just may have a lemmon.
