Water leaks, either from the roof or flashing around vents, A/C. windows or doors, is DEATH to any RV especially if it has a wood floor.
I have very limited experience with RV so I have not had TOO many really bad experiences. If I was shopping for a new TT, I would take a long look at an "eggshell". These are small and more expensive, but I think there is less likelihood of many of the major failures.
Lil' Snoozy is a very "interesting" eggshell. No black water tank (toilet cassette), no gas (electric heat, electric hot plate) and a regular window A/C. Not cheap !
