Exactly where would this "competition" come from?
There are numerous RV manufacturers in Europe but how many have you seen being sold in the US?
There are also some manufactured in Australia but how many have you seen sold here?
There are a few manufactured in Japan, which are tiny, yet none are sold here.
They can pack a lot of autos in a container ship but not so with RVs.
There's not enough profit margin for them to have them shipped overseas.
It wouldn't be cost effective to manufacture them in other countries and then ship them to North America.
So unless a foreign RV manufacturer buys a US RV factory, this scenario will never happen.
