We bought a Carriage 5th wheel new in 2008 and have had very little problem with it.
You get what you pay for. Although you can pay a big price and still get bad quality but usually is not the case.
I feel bad you have had so much trouble with the unit you bought but please do not give up on all of the travel campers. There are some that last a long time and have given people years of use.
The 5th wheel we have now is the Carriage we bought new and we do not plan on buying another camper soon. This one is our 4th 5th wheel and the 2nd new one we have bought.
We are now full-time RVers and enjoying this for last 8 years.
I hope you can find a camper that will fit your family or lifestyle and will last many camping seasons.
Do lots of research on a camper you are interested in. The brand, dealers and etc. Read reviews from people who have that camper.
