"The national trade association representing nearly 300 manufacturers and component suppliers producing approximately 98 percent of all RVs manufactured in the United States."
In 2016 recreational vehicle production was expected to be ~ 430,000 units of all types - crunch the numbers and that means the RV industry is worth billions $$$$$$$$$$$ in product every year - yet it's an industry that doesn't know what it's doing?! :h Warren Buffet's Berskshire Hathaway group doesn't know what it's doing with his investments, including Forest River Inc. Seriously? :R
Believe it, if there's a segment of untapped market out there the industry believes is worth "tapping", it will - naive to believe otherwise. :R
