Furnace Creek, Death Valley, CA.....$1.00 to wash, $1.00 to dry.
In Death Valley and many parts of the Southwest the clothes are dry as soon as they hit that hot dry air! :)
We full-timed for 16 years using laundramats and didn't mind it at all. We never found them dirty.
Even if installing them would save money we would never want them. We do 2-3 weeks of laundry in 1-1/2 hours. We could never stand to do a tiny load every day. We also dry camped a lot for up to 10 days at a time. We would need to dump to be able to use them.
Laundry day was not an issue. We did other errands that day - groceries, etc. then we were finished for another 2-3 weeks.
All full-timers definitely do not have the equipment in their RVs - at least our friends don't.
