For Vacaville (CA) you may have to list in the closest big city Craigslist.

No big deal, it gets results - but, you need to screen the calls.

If you send them money they will vanish never to be heard from again.

Thanks. I appreciate all the info. We decided to not respond to these so called sellers. It sounds like a scam.

I have had them call me from Colorado saying they can sell it. I just tell them no. But if I was curious, I would ask them how they got their buyers and I would like for them to refer me to their web page where I could see what units they were trying to sell. I think that would make them hang up.

You would be far better off to have a local RV dealer sell it on consignment, than to pay some unknown person sell it.
Just treat as "your Bank" call you wanting to verify your SS Number!!!
Our current 5er was a consignment with Camping World!

Just tell them you are not going to give them $200 upfront, but will gladly pay them a $1000.00 commission when it sells to their buyer. If they really have a buyer, that would be a no brainer. Yet, for some reason they never want to make 5 times the amount they requested.

I have experienced it before selling my truck and it turned out to be a scam. They called and said the represent buyers and want to be paid up front for the sale. Their logic behind it was they were sending a buyer to look at my truck who was going to take it, the money down was to make sure I did not change my mind, if I did the buyer received the 500 for wasting their time. When I searched it on the Internet found thousands of complaints which helped me save $500 lol.

One item I have seen and not a full scam, many dealers will sell your rig on consignment. 5% of the sale seems average and you need to give them a min they can sell it for. As well if they can sell it for more then you want they have a bonus built in. For the most part it is fair but I have seen dealers use these as examples on why it is better to buy new or to upsell.

Do not know where you are advertising but be careful some of the groups that say they can sell your RV are scams.......

Don't waste your money. If you want to get more interest in your RV for sale keep dropping the price until you start getting calls....

I've never used their services. Personally, I would not respond to an unsolicited offer to sell my RV (or anything).

I've heard and read, these type 'sales people' usually take your fee and you never hear from them again. JMO
