Looking at RVShare.com, it seems like a lot of people are having a positive experience and cash flow renting their RV out. The only information on insurance is a statement saying that the site helps you.
I looked for someplace where you could actually contact a renter to ask them their experience, but didn't find anything. Perhaps you could contact an owner as if you were going to rent.
It can't hurt to try it if you really want to do this - all the advice to newbies on this site to rent first have to rent from someone, don't they?
As explained on the site, the site holds a security deposit from the renter until the unit is brought back and inspected by the owner. The owner logs on to the site to release or hold the deposit depending on the outcome of the inspection.
The cons are having total newbies operating your RV - who knows what they are putting in your holding tanks, or their cleanliness standards. I suppose you could disqualify someone who does not have the proper TV if your renting a TT.
I'd have to know what the insurance coverage is.
Although it's not for me, I'd like to hear of your experience if you decide to do so. Does RVShare.com charge a fee for services?
On Edit - seems like all applicable questions are answered in the Terms of Service - long read.
