I did contact the ag extension office about 45 years ago and they sent me a booklet titled "The Care and Feeding of Your Septic System".

Then you should be able to answer the three questions!

That is the whole idea. Your suppose to fold it in half twice and rip out a small piece from the center. Stick you finger in the hold and wipe. Then use the paper to wipe finger as you pull paper off. Then use the center piece that you should have saved to finish cleaning up. That was what was called military supply economy while I was in the Army.

Good post. I too am noticing that the new Angel Soft is not breaking down as well. I have a clear fitting and have seen plugs of it going thru. Glad someone else is seeing the difference also. Maybe I'll go to single ply. Real shame since the old Angel Soft was by far the way to go.

Could you please explain your statement, I have been in the wastewater industry for many years and I have NEVER heard or seen such a problem.

TP can damage concrete :h TP which is applied to sentive areas can also destroy bacteria like a 10% bleach solution :h

All this time I thought Septic Safe meant it won't clog a drain field. Of course I didn't read that on the Internet and I'm not a French model either.

I love toilet paper and black tank threads. Everyone has an opinion and is willing to share their likes and dislikes, some of which are downright hilarious. Keep 'em coming!

I'm not sure what Wal Mart has to do with Angel Soft. It's found in other stores.

Oh boy. Must be winter because we've made it to three pages of contentious discourse on what to use to wipe our cornholio with after firing of the morning mud musket.
