I have wondered about the high price of RV toilet paper compared to regular. I had a friend of mine (Fellow RV'er) tell me to take a piece of any brand of regular toilet paper and put it in a glass of water overnight. I tried it with 5 different brands (Regular toilet paper) and the next morning i tried to pull it out of the glass. It totally goes to pieces. Try this and Privet message me with your results.
And what will that prove? Every single brand of TP will eventually fall apart when immersed in water. So what is the goal of the test? If brand a breaks down in 10 minutes is that better than one that takes twenty minutes?
What is the standard for TP breakdown? I don't know about you but I could care less how long it takes to break down. The pipe that that toilet paper comes out doesn't care. So once again what is the purpose of this so called breakdown test.
I use what I use at home...my but is used to it and it works. I also could care less about 1 vs. 2 ply. If they made 14-ply toilet paper I would use that, and I bet it would still breakdown in a glass of water overnight, same as all the others!
And for all you septic kool-aide drinkers. ALL TP IS SEPTIC SAFE. ALL TP IS RV SAFE. ALL TP WILL BREAKDOWN IN WATER. NO BRAND OF TP IS BETTER OR WORSE FOR RV/SEPTIC...use whatever you want.
Now please tell me the value of the water test?
