But it sounds like you bought it back for next to nothing. The insurance company isn't going to pay you out book value and then give you the rv back for free. Not how it works. Presume you expressed interest in buying it back and they got off cheap and you got a perfectly serviceable rv that needed minor repairs.
Unless I'm missing something.
