RV water hoses and pocket hoses

For home use we have a couple of those so called "pocket" or "folding hoses" and they are great; light, easy to coil up, to move around, etc. I don't suppose there is any chance any have been developed to be drinking safe so as to use 1 to hook up the RV to water. I would go out and buy one in a heartbeat. I absolutely hate fooling with those damn RV hoses; especially when they are cold and stiff.
  • I had one of those 'Shrinking' hoses. It lasted a week before the sidewall ruptured & we don't have high water preasure. Total waste of money.

I just wonder if they can take the pressure.

Most of us use a water pressure regulator that screws on to the faucet. That should eliminate any over-pressure problems.
