RV wave

Down south everybody waves.

I'm busy,....paying attention to the driving,....and watching the TV...:B:B:B

It never caught on because we don't have a "special" wave.

How about sicking you arm out the window and pointing down towards your black water release valve?

It is unique and no other vehicle on the road has one. :)

I don't know if this is just local to the countryside near Cincinnati, but when you pass a car going the other direction on a country road, all drivers have both hands on the wheel at 10 and 2. As you go by, they raise the index finger of one hand without looking at you. You wave back the same way. City folks get quite a kick out of it.

Maybe using the aftermarket driving lights or the air horn would work better.

DH waves at all campers - TT, 5ver, MH. We often get a wave back, but sometimes we can tell they aren't looking at us. Sometimes we'll get kind of a startled wave back that looks like we surprised them. Once in a while we can tell they were going to wave to us, and we both end up waving together. It's still fun whether they wave back or not.

Waving is too hard to see as due to windshield, glare and road concentration.

WHAT I do is flash four quick high beams followed by two, or in Morse code - H & I = HI !! Now that can be seen even when distracted by concentrating on the road, glare or just day dreaming.

I only seem to consistently get a wave from other painted Class A motor homes, which I return.

I think that I am getting away with something as they probably assume that I am a DP and not merely a gasser?

If any of you campers get passed by a little white Ranger on I45 between Houston and Galveston and a waving hand pops out of the rear window don't worry. That's just me saying Howdy.
