Let's face it, most campsites that are reserved and paid for ahead of time and not used are for those who are trying to guarantee a spot......for whatever reason, good, bad, selfish or otherwise.
Who cares?
Lots of people care, because now the campground is technically "full" when in reality it is not. Personally, I feel, unless the site is occupied the first day (or the renter has called to cancel/explain why they are not there), I think the site should be released and no refund given. Who knows, maybe the extra fees would help keep down our rates.
