So glad I found this area of the forums!I have degenerative disc disease, stenosis, sciatica from scarring ( 2 laminectomies and lots of steroid injections/epidurals) pressing on nerve roots...now from always sitting leaning to one butt cheek because the right one has such nerve pain,I have now developed a severe kyphosis causing me to walk with a terrible gait. They call it Trendelenberg gait. This walking pain has me exhausted!
However, I recently bought a smaller Class C instead of towing..hitching was a nightmare. Anyway, eight years of pain 24/7,with NO meds that work,I have decided to finally go to a spine surgeon.the first two were neurosurgeons.
My husband has moderate/severe dementia and I am THE caregiver. I gave up FL last winter because of the driving pain..but I won't give up my RV even if it's just in the driveway!! Lol....I may be disabled and 74 yrs old, he is almost 83,but I have rved for 28 yrs.and owned 20 campers. You know what they say.."You can take the old gal out of the woods, but you can't take the woods out of her!!" Wish me luck, people, and I hope to see you down the road! Janalee
