. . . The S2000 is one of my favorite all time rides. Don't sell it, no matter what. We made that mistake! ;-(
I agree!
We could buy another vehicle, although we're very happy with the Accord and the Sierra and would prefer to keep them. Both are only 2 years old. Buying another vehicle probably means less money for the motorhome, since I want to take only so much money out of retirement savings for purchasing and setting up a motorhome.
Selling the S2000 makes the most sense, I know, since we only use it in the summer and we both have enough arthritis, etc. that getting in and out is becoming a bit of a challenge. In 11 years it only has 43K miles on it. But I
do love to drive that car.
I would prefer towing the truck for fishing, but the folding tow dollies that I've found aren’t rated for enough weight. If I go fishing by myself, DW needs to keep the Accord, since she can't drive the S2000 (She's never been able to shift for herself, HA!) and she doesn't want to drive the full-size truck. That seems to push things toward the S2000 for towing, either on a dolly or with a lube pump, etc. Or trading the S2000 for a flat-towable car.
Thanks for the link for the link for the baseplate kit for the S2000.
Does anyone make a lube pump for the 6-speed manual in the 2002 S2000? I haven't been able to find one, yet. I suppose those are somewhat specialized for the particular vehicle application – or are they more universal?
