Does anyone make a lube pump for the 6-speed manual in the 2002 S2000? I haven't been able to find one, yet. I suppose those are somewhat specialized for the particular vehicle application – or are they more universal?
Wayne,
There is no lube pump made for ANY manual transmission. Gear Lube is not pumped and does NOT "flow" through a manual transmission.
I cannot advise you about an S2000, but in the past 8 years I have towed more than 50,000 miles on 2 Miatas. 35,000 miles on a 5-speed and now more than 12,000 miles on a retractable hardtop 6 speed.

When I started towing my 2000 5-speed 8 years ago, EVERYBODY (including many on this forum) told me that the car would be damaged. It wasn't....
Also in that time, I have helped more than 50 other Miata owners to get their cars RV towable and yes... Mazda says that NO Miata is flat towable. Mazda also makes no differentiation between the automatic and the manual transmissions.
In the Miata 6-speed, the transmission was totally redesigned from the 5-speed such that the internal gears DO rotate when the car is towed in neutral.
Do what you think best, but if it was me... I'd put a base plate on it, put it in neutral, and go have fun. If a tow bar company makes a base plate for them, somebody's towing them.
