I can't see doing this. The car has really low ground clearance, and I'm too old to be crawling under it repeatedly to bolt and unbolt the drive shaft.
I posted a question on this topic on an S2000 forum and someone pointed out that while the manual says that flatbed truck is the only acceptable way to "transport" the S2000, it was probably talking about emergency wrecker situations only. I read it to be any transporting, including flat towing behind a MH. Maybe it would be more accurate for me to say that the manual is silent on the question of flat towing.
Still, I have found only the one reference, in the link that paulcardoza posted, where someone referred to towing an S2000 four-down.
I would feel better about trying it if I could find a few others who have flat towed an S2000 without problems.
