  • That really is a strange location for a fire. Not the engine, not a tire, and apparently not the frig. Rear roof. Would really like to know the cause.
  • I think that photo shows the results of the FD actively fighting the fire. The white smoke is typical of water hitting a fire. I can also see flames at the right rear of the roof. The second and third photos in your first post show large flames and black smoke at the rear of the RV, with no fire trucks in sight.
  • Here is another interesting pic before the MH was engulfed in flames.

It shows the fire department 'on scene" apparently way BEFORE it went up in flames. One would wonder why they did not put it out at that stage?
  • It's always a shame to see someone's RV get destroyed, and I'm glad they were all able to get out ok. It's unusual to see a gas Class A fire start in the rear, but that suggests possibly a brake or tire fire, or perhaps a rear mounted generator fire. Unless there's a follow up report, we may never know the cause.
