safety first

those words should be tattooed on some peoples fore head. I was on another forum and they were talking about small heaters and catching fire. one guy had his burn the counter top in the kitchen because he forgot to unplug his and went to work. have read many near fires and such and if you don't take precautions and not place it 18 inches from any thing flammable then at least have fresh batteries in your smoke detected, provided you even have a smoke detector. even in brick and stick houses you read in the paper of fires that have killed children and you see they did not have working smoke detector in the house.hopefully you will be offended enough if I say "hey stupid, buy a smoke detector and live a little longer for your grand kids." would you get one and use it?????
  • It should be tatooed on the back of their hands. Easier to see.

What does or e gun mean?
    Oh brother.
  • Some thought as to the origin of the name ""oregon" is that it came from an English officer's request to his superiors to search for a northwest passage in the 1760's. The route he proposed was from the Great Lakes to the headwaters of the Mississippi and then across the mountains following the river going to the Pacific which he referred to by its Indian name of Orogun or something like that. The river he was referring to is called the Columbia. There's also thought that the name came from an earlier French map referring to a river pronounced something like "auregun" or something on that order. Sorry if I don't have these spellings quite like they're supposed to be.
  • I ADDED a smoke detector to my 5th wheel: in the basement, as someone said on this site that that is where most fires start. New batteries in every unit every spring. I'm a believer.
