Safety

I am retired on a disability from Law Enforcement and do have a Federal Permit that is governed by the US Code. I will carry while we are traveling on the road but don't once we get to the campground. I am required to qualify each year going through the same requirements as if I was still a fill timer. The only thing I question it the folks that pay some money to take a course and maybe use a 22 to qualify with then carry a higher powered piece. I definately feel you need to qualify yearly and only authorized to carry what you qualified with. I am uncomfortable with some folks who do not have to re apply every 5 years and not required to show instructor that you are able to carry instead of just paying $$ and be good for another 5 years.

Sorry for the long post. I will get off my soapbox.If you have had to carry for an occupation you might have different feelings. I hope all have save travels and total enjoyment.
