Safety

I had a friend in downtown KC when there was an influx of rowdy and not-so-rowdy inner city youths, but a lot of them. When speaking to him a week or so later, he commented that he wished he had his gun with him because he felt very intimidated and while not physically threatened he was definitely uneasy. He has a CCP. Nothing happened and he walked to his car with no issues beyond his uneasiness, and I wondered why he wanted his pistol when he had no need of it.

However I wonder what might have transpired if he has been carrying his pistol. Would he have felt intimidated enough to perhaps open his coat and reveal he was armed? Would that have escalated things to violence?
