Hi All.. Maybe it is just me but I am getting concerned about our personal safety at camp grounds. Should a camper carry a weapon(gun)in the camper? Currently I do not. Jim2007

Like the refrain goes you only need it when you need it.
I've had in possession a handgun or rifle since I was around six.
Not for any nefarious need.
I've need it on three occasions and couldn't get to it when our home was invaded around 1977.
Why do people worry it is dangerous? It is people that are dangerous and some animals.
When you need and it isn't there are they going to whin the police weren't there?
No way can the police be with you 24/7 and have no responsibility to protect you.
I like guns and shoot when I can. Need more practice. Don't do much hunting.
This phobia is inspired by irrational people.
The victims of any weapon wield by any perp, would have had the opportunity, the weapon to defend themselves and their lives and property instead of losing perhaps. Nothing is certain in life. Best be prepared to defend yourself and family and others.
