Several years ago a friend would plan his vacations around the resorts that sold time share condos, usually he got 2-3 days in their condo and $100-200 for gas money. He and wife would listen to the pitch, never buy, and then enjoy their free vacation. He usually came home from a week vacation with a few extra dollars in his pocket.
