Our Cyclone was somewhat rusted. I knew it had been a winter delivery because although we bought it May, the picture on the dealer's website had snow on the ground. They did some kind of acid wash and it came out pretty good.
One thing I would highly recommend to anyone with a sealed undercarriage. The first time I tried to remove some of the bolts that hold that corrugated plastic in place, some of the bolts broke off at the heads. They were so rusted in the frame, the bolt broke instead of coming out. So my recommendation to ALL camper owners with a sealed undercarriage: Shortly after getting it home, remove each bolt one at a time and coat with anti-seize. May save you a lot of headache down the road.
