Sams Club?

I've heard about people stopping at Walmart for a quick night's rest, I was wondering if Sam's Club allows this also? Was working on a May trip to Maine to visit my son and noticed a Sam's Club close to the interstate about where it might be good to stop on the way up.
  • There is other locations beside Walmart. Have to check at each location but Home Depot, Lowes and Menards allow overnighting at many locations.
  • The Sam's Club in our hometown had semis that spent the night. If asked, I think they let RV's stay too.
  • I would just ask the manager. Some locations the town might have a ordnance against it.
  • Walmart supports it at their 24hr super walmarts,as business decision. Many times, RV'ers go in and stock up, spend, etc....

Have not heard, Sam's Clubs are similar, with it being a business decision & a written policy.

There is a Yahoo Group WalmartRVing (with a database of Walmarts, that are clear to over-nite at & the ones you can not), and an active forum, where people will let you know certain areas on options.
