Samsung 10.1" Tablet on sale at Costco

A member was asking about a cheaper alternative to the Apple Tablets a while back and I mentioned I bought a Samsung (Android) Tablet at Costco a few years ago at a good price.

They have the Tablet in the link below on sale for $100 off, bringing the price to $169.95.

These are great tablets; just ordered one for the wife for Mother's Day.

Cool. But don't we have to factor in the cost of the xfinity full load plan?

I too use an Android Tablet.. RCA. Less than 100 bucks when I bought it. Need to get a new one though if I decide to go back to using it... (I use it mostly as an alarm clock. It does pandora every Sunday at 6am. Also useful for some other stuff but the main reason I do not use it is that I'm using Chrome books for most stuff (Real keyboards) and do not often stream video (one hour a week plus one hour a month) and I do that on one of the chromebooks (This one usually).
  • We just bought the same tablet at Costco. It's not the latest and greatest but it's good for watching movies etc...Good picture and decent sound.
  • This is on the dash of the Sahara everywhere we go running Waze and Copilot RV. Great tablet. The only issue I have is the annoyed bug that says there's water in the charge port. You have to shut the tablet off to plug in the charger otherwise it won't charge. It's a known issue.
  • I can second they are great tablets. My wife and I both have one. Use it all the time, Youtube, Netflix, Checking weather, sports, FB, News, Radar, you name it. Like a mini computer and the screen is actually big enough I can type on it without hitting the wrong keys like I do on the phone most of the time ;-).

Love mine. One hint. Don't leave it plugged in all the time to keep the battery charged. Charge it up, run it to nearly empty before you recharge it. I've had mine almost a year and doing it this way, My battery lasts forever vs. my wife who puts hers on the charger almost every other night.
