Sand

Rolled into Laughlin, NV yesterday for a 3 month stay, I thought I was prepared for everything until I met the sand. I'm from Texas and used to sand but this sand seems to stick to everything here. We are sweeping twice a day at least. Is constant sweeping the only answer or do any of you with more experience have some tips?
  • We are tracking it in constantly. I don't know how to post pics on here but we have a trail of rugs from the truck to the camper. My problem is that I can't sit still so it's mostly me doing it.
  • I used to live and work at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore.
Sand was a fact of life. It gets pretty much everywhere. Lots of rugs and lots of foot wiping before entering, but it still gets in. Yes, sweeping and vacuuming is what's needed. Also shaking out those doormats every day.
  • Come on out to the California coast where it's also humid and you'll REALLY find out where sand sticks :)
