Sanitizing FW system-- call your water company!

My neighbor suggested I call our water company when I told him about filling/draining my RV tanks multiple times. I was going to drain it out into my yard. I told them I was filling a swimming poo...

Huh? 1- The town I live in could care less what I am doing with the water ( wash car, boat or fill a tank. They charge by meter reading.
2- Don't know how " they " can disregard two days use without reading the meter. Sounds inefficient to me. If you are using the water why would they not charge you for it?
