We used to get a sprinkler credit but no more. We pay about .01 per gal. for water and .017 per gal. to flush it. If you own a business you pay a "blacktop fee" based on the size of your lot for the amount of rainwater that your blacktop forces into the storm sewers rather than soaked into the ground. On the plus side you can arrange for the fire department to fill your pool for free.
