Sans mattress

I've recently discovered the benefit of sleeping on the floor without a mattress. I'm actually on half inch foam pad - the interlocking floor foam squares, with a foam wedge under my lower legs. The benefit for me is significant relief from back pain vs my quality bed mattress.

The question as it pertains to RVing; does anyone else sleep like this in RV/trailer or sailboat?
