It limits our ability to RV/Camp right now as I am still working and husband intended to go ahead and set up camp (roughly 5 hours away from our home are many of our destinations) and I was going to drive up after work. It is too late to leave after work and try to set up camp, but without confidence that we have coverage for contact should something go wrong on the road, we don't feel we can risk having me drive to the destination alone. I appreciate everyone's help in this area, we will keep trying to think of a solution to our current dilemma.
another option might be getting ham (amateur) radio licenses.
