Scam. For sure.
I recently sold a stove and refrigerator on Craig's list.
First response was a scam email saying - definitely want it, has it sold yet, email me with more info. Then there was a fake name. It sounded "off" since the ad already had full detail on the fridge. I googled the fake name and, sure enough, it was one used often by scammers. So I ignored it.
They are looking for your true email address ( not the Craig's list anonymous contact email) and as much info as they can suck out. Then they will bombard you with spam forever, and will try various scams like wire transfers or checks.
The real buyers phone, live in your area, want to come see it, and will pay cash with a little haggling.
