It is my understanding that docs can't fax or email or call in a sch 2 med.....it has to be the original paper script. One for every month. Plus to confuse the matter even more....I am a bit of a gypsy traveler, never in one place for any length of time. There must be other full timers in this predicament.

So, last year we tried this: I had 3 written presriptions that I brought with me, post dated. One for now, and the other 2 for 2 other months. I took it to a pharmacy in California, and they said they couldn't fill it because she was a CNP. (nurse practicioner) I held on to it and tried to fill it in Arizona. Well, she had written two different prescriptions on one pad, and that isn't legal in Arizona, so long story short, I'm out of meds and will have to visit an Urgent Care to see if they will fill a prescription for me.
a PITA for sure.
