I have a meeting set up to discuss this towing set up with a local Michigan State Police officer. I had a conversation with him today and described the components. He believes I may be in compliance with the law and is doing more research based on the type of tow bar that I have. He agrees that it is not a 5th wheel, however he also sees no evidence of a conventional ball conection or pintel hitch. This may be the loop hole, as thinks the motorhome and blazer may be considered one vehicle based on the lack of traditional trailer connection. More to come on the legality of it.
