Be careful. There is a lot of **** weather blowing in. I wouldn't camp low lying as in Cape Disappointment as there is big surf also on the way.
We were in spot 20 down at Cape Disappointment from Tuesday until this morning when they told us we had an hour to get out of there, as they were afraid of flooding at high tide. Of course as soon as we started packing up, they called a tornado warning and had us all in the bathrooms for half hour or so. Last night the surf was high enough to float most of the driftwood which heavily lines the high water line, and waves flooded into some of the camping areas, although not bad. Lots of rain, hail, and wind. We drove up to Gig Harbor today, and for much of the drive you had to watch out for tree branches etc on the road, not to mention put up with the 5er dancing a little. All said though, the coast is absolutely beautiful during heavy weather, and as long as you're safe from it, the vicious looking sea is a site to behold. Wouldn't want to be in a small boat on it however.
