Searching_Ut...I use to rumble down to a famous b/w photographer, in my VW Westy..would hang a left at Ogden to avoid the traffic and come up 84 anf then onto 6, then 191 ...****..now I have to go look up the name..to bring me out by Green River and on to Moab. VW's dpn't go fast...

You have all the bases covered in your planning. I was just trying to be helpful. When you head home..if you are driving south on I-5? Consider hanging a left and trying 14 along side the Columbia in Wa. Let me if you are..I can give you a great spot to overnight...as a matter of fact, close to the beer place I was at.
