In my travels I'm seeing a bunch of later model RV's of every description for sale in peoples yards, driveways, sitting in empty lots, on Craigs List and in the local paper. I wonder what gives. ...

Our neighbors went on a weekend trip with us, since we are always talking about how much fun we have. We had a popup at the time, and they thought it would be perfect to tow with their SUV.
After seeing the packup process they decided it was to much work. This does not really surprise me since they complain if the resort they stay at does not have valet service. We went on a trip to the mountains with them for his 40th birthday, and the "cabin" we stayed in was for sale for only $1.8 million. They are great neighbors, and we love hanging out with them, but our choice of lodging is vastly different. :)
