I suspect some want to upgrade and think that by selling their own unit they will be better off in the long run.
I have found by trying to sell RV my self, that buyers want something for nothing. They come and pick your RV apart because it does not have the right floor plan, the colors are not what they want, they want to trade in their old RV an even some wanted me to finance the sale for them.
I traded my late model 5er in with the local dealer and actually got $10,000 more (against retail on a new unit) then I was trying to sell mine for privately.
No used RV in my yard sitting for months waiting for a buyer.
