Seeing a ton of RV's for sale...
In my travels I'm seeing a bunch of later model RV's of every description for sale in peoples yards, driveways, sitting in empty lots, on Craigs List and in the local paper. I wonder what gives. ...

After seeing the packup process they decided it was to much work. This does not really surprise me since they complain if the resort they stay at does not have valet service. We went on a trip to the mountains with them for his 40th birthday, and the "cabin" we stayed in was for sale for only $1.8 million. They are great neighbors, and we love hanging out with them, but our choice of lodging is vastly different. :)
Not on thread (and I'm the OP), but that rings true with me too. I have friends that have 'go fast boats', Scarabs and Cigarettes that I like going out on, cannot afford the gas or the insurance but fun anyway when invited. Own one, no way, my pocketbook isn't that large. Something about putting the throttles on the dash on triple 500 Mercruisers that scares me...the fuel consumption and it's premium too....:p
