You state that with a capital "IS" like it's a fact. You sure it isn't opinion? I know it doesn't describe me at all and I've been a native-born American for over 55 years now.
Yes, I'm sure it's not an opinion. It's based on the reasons why most Americans state they want a gun - because they feel the need to protect themselves from the chance of being a victim, regardless of how unlikely they are to be a victim.
Are there people who want to carry guns for other reasons - of course. That's why I didn't say ALL. Again, this isn't an insult or political.
