Yep and that's what the U.S. Government told the Indians, give us your guns and we will protect you. Sure thing then proceeded to round them up and put them on a reservation, and gave them lard, sugar, and flower. They didn't have a clue what to do with it because they were gather hunters and many of them starved to death. And that's what Hitler told the Jew and Gypsies and then proceeded to take them to concentration camps as they had no way to defend themselves
