- Campfire_TimeExplorerAmazon is great that way. I purchased most of the parts I needed to replace the exhaust on my truck from them. According to the manufacturer's web site I needed a doughnut gasket. I didn't need it. I requested a refund. It was too small for them to deal with, they said keep it and gave me the refund. Awesome.
- georgelesleyExplorerProblem solved. I had a new extra set of safety cables purchased by mistake. Never used. I contacted Amazon where I purchased them even though it was several months past the 30 day return they took them back and even paid return shipping. Amazingly, I dropped off the return package with UPS yesterday and got an email last night that my return credit had been issued.
Obviously they issued the refund upon verification that ups had picked up the package. My total cost was zero. Amazing, just amazing. - phillygExplorer IIIf you have stuff like hitches, supplental braking and the like, hitchtrader.com provides a good market.
- midnightsadieExplorer IInice to see a persons eyes light up, when they get some toy, they could not afford, from a complete stranger, nice job.

For example, when we got our Dish Tailgater, I gave away my satellite pointer to a fellow camper who had an dish on a tripod set up. The thing was expensive, but not needed. He was so excited, I though he was going to kiss me!
I finally gave away my entire DISH-TV receiver and Tailgater away to another RV.net member. I gave away an ADCO cover for my previous camper. I've given away 1 pound bottles of propane, my original Coleman camp stoves, lantern, virtually all that stuff, as we don't use it any more.
I've given away parts from my old campers I found long after they were sold.
I always try to give stuff to younger and newer to camping folks the stuff I don't need any more. The joy and excitement, watching their expressions, and getting something free is ... well... priceless!
Need any awning flappers? I still have 4 of them, as my awning is electric now! - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIYEP..........
